The Cogency office has been buzzing lately, in preparation for the 14-18 NOW launch which took place this morning on HMS President.
Jenny Waldman, Director of 14-18 NOW introduced the programme, which is commissioning artists to create new work reflecting on the impact and legacy of the First World War, as part of the UK-wide Centenary commemorations. Participating artists and companies include: BalletBoyz, Kate Pullinger & Neil Bartlett, Malorie Blackman, Royal de Luxe, Sebastian Faulks, Stephen Fry, Anya Gallaccio, Sound&Fury, Katie Mitchell, Andrew Motion, Torsten Rasch, Owen Sheers, Lemn Sissay, Forced Entertainment, Posy Simmonds, Richard Thompson, Colm Tóibín, Richard Wentworth, Jeanette Winterson, Chloe Dewe Mathews, WildWorks.
