We were saddened to hear of the death of John Ellson last week. John and his company ESIP were The Cogency’s very first client as part of their work on the 40th anniversary celebrations of Ronnie Scott’s jazz club and we continued to work with John on other projects over the years. Our founding Director Cathy was also formerly Marketing Manager at Serious where she worked alongside John for over 5 years during his time as Director there.
Our memories of John are of a generous person who lived life to the full, was passionate about the music he promoted and made a great lunch date! Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
