Event marketing & strategic consultancy
The Cogency has worked with MIF since the inaugural Festival in 2007, when we delivered marketing campaigns for several events including Monkey: Journey to the West, a collaboration between Damon Albarn, Jamie Hewlett of Gorillaz and director Chen Shi-Zheng.
The Cogency’s Cathy Gallagher was the Marketing Director for MIF09 & MIF11, living in Manchester for much of the time and helping to evolve the brand. In this role, she oversaw all aspects of the marketing strategy and delivery, including managing the team, evolving the brand, setting income and audience targets, developing the website and digital communications, and working with promotional and media partners. For MIF13 & MIF15, Cathy provided strategic support and managed the ticketing team.
We continue to work with the internal team on MIF17, providing support on ticketing and evaluation.
