World Cities Culture Forum

In 2020, The Cogency delivered a marketing and communications review for World Cities Culture Forum a leading  collaborative network of the world’s major creative cities led by Justine Simons, London’s Deputy Mayor for Culture. The review and subsequent strategy began pre-covid and was completed during the pandemic, requiring a substantial shift in emphasis to meet the changed circumstances that the organisation found itself in.

As part of the review, The Cogency conducted one-to-one interviews with key personnel and stakeholders of the network including Mayors and Deputy Mayors for Culture in international member cities leading to a three-year strategy. The Cogency then went on to continue to work with WCCF into 2021 to support the internal team to deliver on the strategy up to the appointment of an in-house member of staff.
